German Rye Bread

It’s amazing to me how much we associate caraway seeds with rye bread; in fact, I would bet that most people who say they don’t like rye bread, really just don’t like caraway seeds. Rye is like wheat: simple. It doesn’t have a “slap you in the face” flavor but a earthy, coax-able robustness that can lead to amazing bread. I bought this loaf of whole-grain rye at CVS for 2.79, and it’s amazing that it only has four ingredients: whole rye meal (59 %), water, salt, yeast. amazing!
am I addicted to grilled cheese?
