The service at Havana was lovely, I felt well taken care of and they were fast to ask my imported questions to the kitchen. The food was quite tasty, and I would return here; however I feel like the value of some items is not exactly there. It seemed to me that the execuitive chef must have had the day off because although things were delicious, there were some things that put me off. If you’re going to only serve me five shrimp as my portion, you better damn make sure that those shrimp don’t have their vein/digestivetrack/poopline in them anymore. The pineapple salsa that came with the plantains was an amazing pairing… the flavor combinations were wonderful. The execution of the salsa was a bit lazy, you could tell they just threw some items into a food processor or blender and made a mix. The service at Havana was lovely, which would make me want to return on a time when I could try more local things on their menu.
